I think SBR's without suppressors are meh. The whole draw to me was that I would have to wait 6 months anyways for a suppressor to clear, and also the ballistics of 300 with an SBR are pretty solid. Plus when you add the 5" can to the barrel it's not over 16" still. Walking around with a 21" rifle is goofy.

If the buffer tube wasn't sticking so far out then I might have a different opinion. But I think it looks pretty goofy.
Bought two of these LAR stripped lowers today. I love the grizzly on the side. I'll probably order the PSA complete lower kit for 80 later on.

You don't have to have it stick out that far. People do it for stabilization since they can't have a stock.

Been thinking about buy an XDM 40, any thoughts?
Using it as a concealed carry piece and I really like how they feel and shoot. Was looking at an M&P 40 but I dont have any experience with them

My brother has one. I like it more than my glock. He has the fullsize though and I have the compact (23).
Looking back, I should have bought a fullsize, or a 9mm as a first handgun. I'm going to bit on the HK USP 45 though. Probably have it Monday.

I don't even like the shorter ones. But to each their own.
I saw the Kriss Vector in action last night on tv. It was pretty awesome.

I've shot an XDM in 9mm before. I liked it but I don't have enough experience with handguns to comment on whether it was nice compared to others that are similar.

Vector was fun to shoot, not $1,800 to shoot. Cool mechanism but would only want it if you could get fullauto one. Be so much fun to have the SOT license to get demo samples.

Composite vs steal has never really bothered me. I don't really care for 1911s either.
I need to shoot more with my handgun. I really don't use it that much, and my glock has terrible sights.

The weight makes a huge difference for me, I mean I wouldnt go with something like a sig because those thins are bricks but I think since Im a pretty small dude the weight helps me keep a litttle better control

Eric and I shot the xdm 40, full size last Saturday. I loved shooting it over a glock, has really nice ergos, interesting safety features. I'm actually looking to find one personally after shooting one

IMO, 9mm is plenty of stopping power if you become proficient with your weapon and have the right ammo.
I almost bought an XDm over my G17. I'll admit the XDm is more aesthetically pleasing, but I wanted reliability. Although, the XDm is probably plenty reliable but no regrets here.

I agree with Peter. I'm not a big handgun guy. But I did just send the money for a USP.
****er didn't tell me he wanted to wait until the money transferred from pp to his bank account.

Sold my Leupold this week. That should cover the cost of my lower part kits/stocks.

I got my wife hooked on shooting a .22 (it's a start and it's cheap and fun) so I'm going to set her up with a more AR looking build. Then play the game of doing the 300 blackout or 1911 first. All depends what presents itself to me.
Her little .22 project will be fun, though. Finally convincing her to get a CC permit

I still want to find a .22lr to plink with. They're so fun. With my cousins old Nylon 66, I was able to dump 15 rounds in 2-3 seconds. It was nice.
Found a fullsize M&P9. Hopefully the guy will take 475 for it.

One of my future projects is to pick up a 10/22 and make it outlandishly tacticool. A friend of mine has an M&P9. Very nice weapon.
How 'bout AP and Doug today, eh?

Well I actually don't have AP but Foster instead. I don't know what I said him. In the league I own them in though, I have a bye. AP is a freak. I think he'll beat out Peyton for Comeback Player of the Year.
