they're a straight edge powerviolence band but there are sludge/doom-esque songs on here "full spectral dominance" and "curtain". when i listen to them i think of dinosaurs dying and **** after the comet hit. worth checking out
Mind Eraser is Backed.

agreed, but nothing tops Dopesmoker IMO

Wizard is what got me into doom.

I enjoy Witchcult Today a lot more than Dopesmoker.

If you guys haven't already, I'd highly recommend listening to Eternal Elysium's Spiritualized D immediately.

Great, and I do mean great, stoner doom.

I don't like the vocals that much on Dopethrone.

Just downloaded some Yob after seeing it mentioned here with Unearthly Trance. ****ing love it.

Sludge has to be my favorite genre of metal. The more heavy and crushing the better.

Cool.

New Mind Eraser LP, Conscious Unconscious. It's their take on a mix of late-80's-influenced sludge & powerviolence. 2 songs...21 minutes. You can listen to a 1:39 soundclip and pre-order the record here:
