I'm pretty sure he worked at smart parts, I could have sworn he helped me with some smart parts magic box automags, and an evolution cocker.

2E actually wa working for Ed Poorman for awhile at Warped Sportz. Last I heard afew years back he "retired" and is living somewhere in the panhandle.
