Three point slings are infuriating... and the retards that make them mandatory are... well retarded. Get yourself a two point (adjustable ones are nice), this place has a lot of gear options. Don't go crazy there PrivOTT (lol... see what I did there).

Personally I use the VTAC to lug around my m16a4 (semi) and it works well. However being required to use two different points to shorten or lengthen it kinda sucks. To lengthen the sling you have to use that tiny pull string. To me, the Ares one has a much better setup. I hunt with my rifle and go from carrying position to firing position a lot (thick brush out here). The two points to pull get mixed up sometimes or require weird angles to work right. I would like if the ares had the same loop covers to keep the loop fabric from being damaged.
Ive never liked one points, two points are good but Im just so used to working with a 3 point over nearly 8 years of shooting I cant get out of it now. I dont like 1 points because you cant secure it and god help you if you have your hands full and need to bend over, you have your rifle bang and hitting everything in gods green earth. 2 points are better because you can some what secure it around your back side and it doesnt swing around openly like a 1 point.
I've used the CAA Tactical Sling at work, fell in love, and took a brand new one home for fun use.

No link, my platoon just got a couple last week. I don't know what a mk48 is so I'm not sure lol. They look exactly the same but I guess they used titanium or something like that somewhere.
