they are in fact made in china. there was a link to a press release stating this somewhere, but i forgot where it was. also, if that wasn't true, i'm sure someone from ga would have said so by now.

If you don't think buying American matters. Look at the current economic situation. That alone is enough to make suggest Ninja.

Which most don't know that that pandoras box was opened by Bill Clinton, with a Republican Congress.

China's economy is booming, that's why they can make things there and sell them for cheap all over the planet. If the Myth was made in the US and held to the same quality control standards that the Chinese have I'm sure the price would at least DOUBLE for the reg.

The Chinese also don't give a **** about "patents," and I think that's a pretty good idea. Instead of being stuck with one inferior product due to patent laws, anyone can improve on the design and sell it as their own, leading to overall better/faster/more tecnological advancements.

Basically, the Myth is probably better quality.

Sorry, I agree with you %100.

I have owned both regs, and like the Ninja simply because you can adjust he output pressure, I trust burst disks more than then Myth design. While the Myth is the smallest, the Ninja is the smallest design using burst disks.

Thank you.

I also seem to have a Centerflag 420 HP reg on the way, i could add that to the comparison later.

I just bought a ninja reg, and b/c of the bigger o ring, I could NOT install it onto my tank. I tried using a crescent wrench. I tried using the supplied bonnet removal screw. Both failed. I put on a regular tank o ring and it fit fine, but i think there was a very slight leak. I just replaced it with a slightly smaller o-ring that hugs the thread better. Hopefully that will fix the slight leak.

^^ true. i clicked on the thread thinking it was new. but to tell you the truth , the myth g2 deserves mentioning vs ninja. it now has 2 burst disks , making it the most compact reg with 2 b.d's and their even flush. a dam nifty rotating flange , and overall better 'fit'.

Yeah, the Myth G2 Reg setup is very nice. Cool bottle design and the adjustable reg bonnet is awesome.
