Thats the problem with the restaurant industry. There slowest night is Monday so thats when they close to have a Holiday party. It's not like any of them have to be to work before 10am anyways.

I work 3 PM-11 PM. I love staying up till 6 or 7 AM drinking, waking up at 2 puking and going in for the night. That is grounds for a stellar day!

I used to work those hours when i was in the Navy. On Wednesday nights when I would get my lunch break I would go to the club/bar and get in before 10pm for free entry and 10 cent wings. Go back to work with my hand stamped for the bar. Get off work, go back to the club that now had a line and a cover, but walk right in for free since I was already there. Party until the club closed. Go home for after hours and party to 6 or 7. Go to bed, get up and repeat. Hell there were weeks where I would have to figure out what day I wasn't going out and actually getting sleep. Oh the life of a 21 year old.
