Hey guys. I just got my phantom in today and i shot about 100 paintball threw it. I got the detent rings and i was using the green at first then the blue. But sometimes i would pump it back and it would shoot 2 balls? I know i only pumped it back 1 time.. please help

Those colored rings mean different sizes. If it didn't double feed using the green, you should stick using green for those paint.

Yes i know. But i was trying those 2 colors because they felt like they had the same pressure to push the paintball threw.

I have the same "problem" however I love that I can shoot two at a time if I want. It's because you hold the pump back a little too long, but the funny thing is is that neither ball breaks and both balls are almost 100% accurate so I'm happy with it. Shoot more balls per 12-gram that way

i only like double feeding when i need it

First, it's "through", not "threw".


Second, if you get 2 balls, it's obviously double feeding.



The best (and really, only logical way) to measure for detent use is grab a handful of the paintballs you will use, and grabs the rings. Push the paintballs through the rings one at a time, until the vast majority of them get snug, but not stuck, in the ring.

You don't want them rolling though, and you don't want them to be a hassle. They just need to be held in place.
