first shot drop off. your first shot is a lower fps than normal, this normally happens after waits in between matches. Severe fsdo can mean if you stop shooting in a game for more than a few seconds your next shot is a much lower velocity.

Why would DLX put a thread lock on an adjustment screw? Usually you make your adjustments to a point where you leave it then add a small drop of thread lock yourself.

because they are "hand tuned" from the factory. The thread lock is not the hardcore kind. It's normally easily broke.

The loctite is of the blue sort which can be broken. I usually use some very light oil on the screw. Once I get it to move, instead of trying to screw one way or the other just work it back and forth a quarter of a turn or so. It will get easier and easier to turn. Once it's loose, make your adjustment. I also have never used loctite to hold it in place once I'm done adjusting. I've never had an instance where it moved.

back the screw out of the manifold completely and inspect it, maybe there's some thick debris of sort's or something on the screw blocking it from going in further, while its out completely inspect the inside of the hole and check for debris or gunk/thread-lock that could be prohibiting the screw from threading in properly further into the manifold

then i wouldnt reccomend turning it in that far, every luxe is different, just because you may not be able to turn it in past 3 full turns dosnt mean your missing out on anything, start with it flush and turn it in 1/2 turn at a time and cylce the marker with paint until you find a nice comfort level in the kick reduction and then cycle it either in uncapped semi or full auto to make sure your happy with the rate of fire, turning the screw in too far can limit the rate of fire a little bit and can cause issues if turned too far inward, such as bolt delay etc, if you have issues with it at 3 turns in, turn it in 2 turns and see how you like it'

need to tune for 260 fps

ok so im going to be playing at an indoor field this saturday that have theyre fps capped at 260 and last time i played there with my luxe at stock settings it didnt fire right at all, after each break the bolt would stick and i would have to turn up the velocity for a couple shots the turn it back down and it would pretty much work fine for most of each round minus a few shots just barely rolling out of the barrel. i need to know what i need to set my marker at for this field. someone told me to set my dwell at 16 and fsdo at 25. would this help for this field. also when i turn the velocity that low my consistancy is way off, like jumping anywhere from 255 to 280. will that fix this problem too?

I bottomed out the manifold screw and it still had no effect on the bolt cycling. Dry firing and shooting paint...one other person in this thread asked if this was normal but no answer...so any ideas why??

my luxe doesn't shoot as good as any other luxe i've shot, there must be a solution! its well and truly broken in...and why does the manifold adjustment screw have zero effect?

Is it possible to damage the marker by turning the manifold screw in too much? Like irreversible damage?
