First Strike guns

Anyone use or used these? If so, your take on them? Does anyone know if Hell Survivors allows them to be used?

We had a special color shell & fill developed and were ready to use them at Hell Survivors, then we found out that the insurance company would not allow them. We were very disappointed.

I have a bunch. They are decent. Hurt more than normal at close-moderate range.

They virtually NEVER break down on the field though.

I know Sherwood Forest in LaPorte, IN does. Same with CPX in Joliet, IL.

Also, our home field, Landing Zone Paintball in Columbiaville, MI does.

We hear you were making them, but never heard anything else. That's too bad as we have been sponsored by Tiberius since forever now.

Not trying to down play how awesome I think first strike is, but the first day I was using it in a game I hit my brother from a GOOD distance away(well out of his accurate range) right on the nose. The impact sent paint thru the air holes on his mask and parts of the shell which ended up cutting his nose good enough to bleed a bit.
So I can see why maybe an insurance company might not be interested in covering first strike. Especially seeing how reckless some people can be with just normal paint.

Most fields insurance companies don't allow them. futureball might allow them still but i doubt it. apparently they don't break that well and the back part is plastic. not something id wanna be hit with at 290fps.

Heard that they can cause some damage. Doubt any MI field will allow them
