i know hes hard to see but i dont have slaves and i tryed a bunch of other angles, im not going to tell him to wear better clothes to stand out. i work with what i got.

Don't just pay attention to the angle, look at your background and foreground as well. Its not the subject's clothes that make you wander... its the crummy composition.

I think this picture sort of works because the horizon, the rocks, and the grass in the foreground all draw your attention to the tree.

Either that or I don't know what I'm talking about.
