I'm relatively new to the sport, but already know that I will NEVER need to buy another pod. While on the field I leave one of my pod slots open on my vest. When I find one that is unclaimed, I grab it. I left the field with twice as many as I bring, almost every time. Of course you should always ask around to make sure you're not stealing them. Any pod that holds paint and doesn't pop open randomly is a good pod.

this just make sure your not stealing them, its really bad to steal but abandoned pods at the end of the day? Are ok!

A pod is a pod, I found 3 past weekend with broken lids, so I need some lids haha
But just buy the cheap pods so you can have more if you lose any

my favorite ones are the free ones, any pod is fine. Fat boys are also legit if you want to spend money on pods

I used to have that issue and then I figured out that the problem was when sliding feet firts on my back the tab would either rub against the ground and pop open or rub against the back of the pack. After I started putting the ones that are held on the outside in with the lid up I haven't had any issues.

found a lock lid on the ground last time i went, will probably be my favorite to use. but as for my favorite pod, i like gxg, they stay closed when they need to and open when they need to. least favorite would be empire, its pretty sad that it not only opens from over stuffing by like 3 paintballs, but it opens from the weight of the balls. but like everyone else said, ive never bought a single pod, i either find them or they come free when i order gear.

Joey n Co. Some small off-brand. They made some of the smoothest opening, tightest sleaing pods I've ever seen. I still have 3 of my original 6 I've been carrying for 9 years.
