Keep this thread to Off Topic discussion only, meaning keep stuff like BST out. If you see stuff that you don't think is appropriate, please report it.

No "raiding" or conspiring against other sections or forums.

All of PbNation's rules apply to this section, not just the ones that are posted here, so watch the flaming, trolling, spamming, etc.

Let me be painfully clear so there is absolutely no questions. I do not want to see any posts that might even be confused with being disrespectful or unwelcoming to any other user. If you feel someone is trolling, spamming, or flaming in this thread, report the post. If you just plain don't like someone, add them to your ignore list. NO EXCEPTIONS.

The ground rules are the same as elsewhere on PBN with an emphasis that if you can not behave in a mature fashion, you will receive infractions points which may result in a ban.

If you are banned on site from PBN, please don't bother posting in this thread.

Pictures that are too large will be deleted without notification.

Posts that we deem inappropriate will be deleted without notification.

If you feel that you can not follow these rules, don't post if you value your account. The mod staff will be the final authority regarding what is acceptable posting.

I am building my collection of real guns right now too.

Got a Blackhawk 357 just waiting for it to be 31 days since my last purchase, and then a Thompson Centre is next after that.

Eventually I will be getting an AR, but Henry 22 lever actions, and a Marlin 357 lever action will be first.

Man, 31 days between purchases? Thought I had it bad living in the great state of Chicag- err, Illinois.

Downside of going to college was that I didn't have as many opportunities to go shoot stuff. Used to do a fall trap league thing with my dad, did a little highpower competition stuff as well.

I can agree with you there Simon. I'm looking to start an AR build here sometime soon. With as much as I've spent on my last 2 paintball guns I could have built one hell of a nice AR. Are you looking to build one up from scratch or buy a prebuilt?

A big part of me wants to build it up from scratch but then I am extremely tempted by the LMT guns too...

ARs are a lot of fun, kinda like the autocockers of the firearm world, but without the misconceptions about complexity. Build it however you want and do whatever you want with it. Hell, you can buy parts to chamber it in .22 or .308 if you want.

Well, the AR-15 is the autococker of the highpower world, the 10-22 is the autococker of the smallbore world. Grab a 25 round mag and a BMF Activator and go to town. Also, the 10-22 tops out at around ~650 rounds/min, near as I can guess by the sound. Just for the record.
