hello
i didn't see a place for an intro thread, so i figured this would be the best bet.
i have played paintball several times over the past 20 years but never joined a forum or bought any equipment. i have recently decided to buy some basic gear so i can quit having to pay rental fees and customize the guns.
i have a 13 year old daughter who played for the first time over the weekend and she loved it, so she has a gun now, too.
anyway, i have no delusions of this being an every weekend event for me, but figured i would try to find a forum home.

Welcome to PbNation! If you have any questions on your marker (upgrades, leaks, maintenance) you can find a lot of help in your markers specific thread from the homepage. Any questions post up!

There are a lot of good reviews for you to look at! Buy used! Save your money. The B/S/T part of the forum is a great place to spend some time.

again, thank you.
i am a supporter of buying used when i know what i am doing. but i decided to go new for the markers. i found a listing for new / assembled / chronographed platinum 98 customs that were intended for a paintball field that fell through. it's a long story, but i got deal for the marker, 200 ball hopper, and barrel sock.
i did just order a used flatline barrel and i'm working on acquiring some more used upgrades, as well.
and i have started looking through the massive quantity of threads, too. there are tons of threads to read!

I used to have a flatline and it sucked. I used it maybe twice before I put it on eBay and got a barrel kit. But I've talked to other people who love their flatline, so I guess it's just preference. Anyway, welcome to the forum!
