Wow this thread died huh? I wonder if V-Max sales have done the same. I still can't afford a Spire, so...

I finally got to play again yesterday. Just a fun day of walk-on turf, but still competitive.

Pulled out my V-Max, flipped the batteries, mounted it up, filled it, turned it on and it commenced to doin' it's thing. For 3 good hours of fast-paced turf play. Shot a case and a half with zero skips jams or breaks.

This was the first time I shot a good amount of paint through the CP low-rise Ion neck. The shorter distance between hopper and receiver had no adverse effect for me. Still feeds 12.5 bps without a hiccup.

I have yet to modify anything inside the gearbox, it's still factory stock...

Me too, My Rotor has jammed 5 times in the last two times I played it. Vmax...Zero jams from last season...Zero.

I shoot 25 bps on ramping on my etek 4 no problem with the v-max loader. And I just got the loader last week

And I have shot maybe 6 cases of paint threw the hopper and no jams or breaks. Idk why all these people have bad experiences with this hopper

Is it possible my dowel pin broke in the gear? I honestly think that's what happened.

Actually I have just what your looking for. I used a vmax (still have it. I use a rotor but the vmax is a great backup)

what you do Is get a Pinokio hoppers drive and do a little shaving off the ends of each fingers so it fits the vmax and install it. It works great, even the guys over at valken recommend it.
