Yes, the stock spring with the Boss Bolt is not great. You can use it if you have to but remove the shock spacer and o-ring 1st. There are a few things that can cause your bad +/-. Bolt guide o-rings, poppet o-ring, bad paint barrel match (under bore if possible) and poor recharge rate on the gun or tank. Rarely but possible a sticky noid or weak battery.

Thanks, I've switched back to the stock bolt now. I've cleaned and lubed the poppit, I'll replace the guide orings next. Unfortunately I don't have easy access to a chrono right now, so all I know is that I no longer have visible shoot down. That's a start at least.
Thanks again,
Collin

Thanks Boss,
For now I've put the stock bolt back in, once I get things up and running properly I'll probably be ordering a new bolt from you. For now, my next move is to get a cocker threaded back (just switched from an ion). The tank I'm using is brand new and working great with my ion, so I'm guessing if it's a reg, it's the relay. I was overboring, I'll try all the o rings, and if that doesn't do it then I'm thinking reg.
Thanks,
Collin
