On their website it says there is a race 2 division for d2 and d3 but for 7man? I'm guessing that is supposed to be the 5man race 2 division?

I am pretty sure it is too. That and the entry prices are whack. $2300 early bird for D3 7man, then $2400 early bird for D1 7 man? If that is correct than there has been a major increase of fees....

I think they are going to an entirely new site, i wouldn't trust anything until the email comes out saying its ready.

I was just looking at that myself an I agree with that is whack an some BS that we have to pay the for the new commissioner an those pro ref from the PSP. If they did have the money in the first place then they shouldnt have offered it up. Its starting to look like the someone from the US government is running the NPPL

Sweet jesus. I don't know what they expect. Even with the old prices teams were already paying almost $300 per game if they didn't make it to Sunday. I've been budgeting off of last years prices but apparently they are going to be pretty different

Like I said, NPPL is moving to a new registration site. There are several typos. I am not sure what is and isnt a typo but I expect D3 7Man and D3 5man will be different prices as I expect D4 7man and D4 5man to be different prices. I also don't know if they are even doing D4 7man. For one thing there is no entry fee listed for D3-5man Race to. So atleast that is a one typo.


If you subscribe to the NPPL listserve then expect an email coming in the next few weeks that will confirm prices.

The only issue with waiting a few weeks is the people traveling 8+ hours whether driving or flying need to know standard concrete prices not have the bait and switch affect as hb draws closer I have argued on nppls behave for alot of things but this here is disappointing ;( common nppl.

This is not only confusing but disapointing!

Prices appear to have gone up a substantial amount.. and yet no press release or anything to bring this topic up? and try to explain the increase?

I only found out, when I was helping our 2nd team try to figure out the cost to play the events.. only to find the price increase and realization that they would not be able to afford to play. teams that are flying from Canada and want to play all the events need to be well organized and know our costs upfront so we can plan accordingly. When prices go up unannounced it is difficult to swallow, and plan!

I sure hope this is a typo or something and prices go back to normal.

But raising the price could mean way less teams meaning tgeyll have to cut manpower and shorten game counts due to lack of income possibly. the prices last year were almost perfect. keep it that way. i wouldnt imagine cost of venues would go up drastically in less than a year for a always returning buyer
