DM9 won't shoot above 265fps
As the title says. I had the gun looked at by dye at a local event with no luck. I'm starting to think i may need a new noid.

We need more information. My DM11 wasn't going above 280 and it just turned out to need a shim in the Hyper 3.

Have you: Tried more than one new battery? Cleaned, inspected every o-ring, and re-lubed entire gun? Reset settings to stock? Pressure tested the Hyper 3?

Your noid is most likely fine.
do theses steps.
A; complete tear down, relube your entire bolt system, and check the two tail orings on the end of the bolt
B; crack your reg open inspect it for any rust, dirt, or just plain lack of lube. theses regs if they aren't lubed they will act up, or if they have dirt grinding inside of them. While you're in there check your reg seat, it's the hocky puck looking thing on your velocity screw make sure it isn't indented really deep
C; count your shims in your reg and make sure your shim stack is correct. should be 12 shims, and if you add another one the shim stack should look like this

If you add a shim, then you would want it like this ()()()()()()(

i've done everything mentioned ( orings, reg check and pressure test, battery, reg seat changed by billy wing). I use the bolt in my pm7 also so i know its not an oring issue. Im going to open up the reg and lpr one more time when i get home to just double check.

Billy wing replaces the reg seat and chrono'd it shooting 290. I went home and it had a leak, so I left it alone and had Alex spence look at it during the next tournament. After that I have the same issue of it not shooting a high fps

I have the stock board in, but it does sound like the same problem. My hyper 3 is all the way out also

To piggy back a question off of what Grass429 said, I have a DM9 and my hyper3 only has 12 shims. What would adding 1 more to make a total of 13 do? Are there any benefits (more consistency, better air flow) with 13 shims compared to the stock 12?
Thank you

No, there are no benefits of adding a shim other than being able to increase your velocity that much higher. If your gun works how it is now, there is no reason to add another.
