The format is simple: three teams (NV, UT, ID), three base flags and a center flag. Teams get a point for each minute their color is raised. The game has three rounds (one hour each) and a final battle--with the base flags removed. Teams rotate bases between rounds so each team gets the chance to attack and defend each flag.

With a format so simple, teams need to have a game plan a bit more complex. Branching out too far, assaulting too many bases while fighting against one team, may mean getting back-doored by the other team. clustering up and defending just one flag could cost you the game.

This will be an ongoing rival/challenge every year traveling from NV to UT to ID. This is certain to become the event to attend each and every year.

Format description

The TRIAD is one of the most exciting yet simplest formats ever created. Why? Here’s why!

Field Layout:
The field is laid out with a total of 4 flags and played with 3 Teams on the field at the same time. Each team has a base flag.

BLUE
RED
YELLOW

Then a center flag that is Black (neutral)






Game Objective:
All the flags have all 4 colors on it in a pinwheel style. The object of the game is to control more flags for longer than the other two teams. For every min you control the flag your team gets 1 point. Any and all flags are able to be captured and controlled by any team. There are no other objectives, only capturing and controlling as many flags as you can for as long as you can.

Respawn:
During the game there will be a “Respawn” every 15 min. The respawn is a type of “Rebirth”. All players that have died in the game that have made it back to their given teams “Dead Box” is able to reenter the game as a live player. There is a 1 min buffer for respawn. If a player does not make it back to the dead box when the respawn horn blows that player still has a 1 min buffer after the horn blows where if he makes it back to the dead box he can still respawn with the other players.

Rotation:
After every one hour of play there will be a 30 min break and then the teams will rotate one base. This will happen 3 times giving each team the opportunity to defend each base.

Final Battle:
After 3 hours of play and each team has rotated to each base there will be a 30 min break then the FINAL BATTLE. The Final Battle will be 30 min long and there will be only 1 active flag for capturing, the center flag. All three teams will battle for control of the center flag their last ditch effort for points.

The team with the most points at the end of the game WINS!

All games will be played on fields with SupAirball bunkers.
For our main field we will be using an *OFFICIAL* USPL field (complete with "U" and all). And the playing surface will be all turf.
The second field will be an Angel NPPL field with Everest, on a patched turf surface (turf in all the right places).

Hi everyone -

I'm currently recruiting for Supergame 38, which will be held July 31st through Aug 2nd at SniperzDen in St. Paul, OR. For those of you not familiar with Supergame, it's consistently one of the largest games in the Northwest. Supergame 37 (last May) had over 700 players in attendence, over 20 sponsors, 30+ scenario teams, and over $40,000 in raffle prizes.

This year, Supergame has been moved to a new, bigger field to allow it to become a multi-day event and more players. Supergame 37 was the first SG at the new field and it was great. SG37 saw the addition of two new formats as well, Night Ops and Spoils of War. SG37 was a great event and we're working to make SG38 even better.

I know this is a long ways to travel for paintball and that most people on this forum will not be able to make it. But this really is a great event, so wanted to make sure that the Nevada 'ballers knew about it. We hope to see you on the field come July 31st.
