how to get cell phones past metal detectors?

So im going to a new school here in NYC and it is a scan school which means we have basically airport security in the lobby(metal detectors ,wands , bag X-ray's). and for some reason me being the only white guy (:nododgy

wearing boots i always get selected for "Random search" where they use the wands on me. your not allowed to have cell phones on your person or in your bags

so my question is how can i get my cell into the school with out getting caught

how about you just keep it off and in your bag and be like, "*****, I need this **** for emergencies and if you're gonna take it away, we're gonna have some ****ing issues." and then snap the new guy look
