Not just IEDs...anyone that has lost life or limb on some ****ty piece of foreign sand nobody cares about.
For the peoplethat are currently serving our country or have served thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I believe that you are better than normal civilians that take for granted what you are doing or have done in combat for this country we live in. I proudly support my country and the men and women who swore to protect it, they bleed so we don't have to so the very least I can do is atleast say thank you.

Being in the Navy and just finishing up a deployment you start to think that people back home don't care about you anymore. I am stationed in Bremerton, Washington which is your typical navy town where the locals can't stand us. Well it's nice to see in the world that people still support the troops. I THANK YOU for caring for us so much. Keep up the support and we'll keep up the fight.

man i hate when people walk up to me at wal-mart or wherever i may be in uniform and thank me for my service. i have yet to run into a single military member who joined for completely selfless reasons. any who say they did are obviously lying outright, or lying to themselves. it's a job with good perks.

Thank you to all of our troops. I have several friends deployed right now and i'm extremely proud of what they're doing.
As for the joining for selfless reasons, I admit, I myself joined because of the perks. But I'm still happy to do the job. My boyfriend joined for selfless reasons. He's extremely glad to be doing what the army is made to do. Yes he did get some pretty good benefits. But he'd still do the job for free. I agree I haven't many soldiers that joined for selfless reasons. But he's the first one that sincere about it

I joined to kill people that would cause my family, and my loved ones harm without hesitation.

RIP Corporal William Woitowicz. He was a couple years older than me and was in a few of my high school classes. He was such a great guy. It's just crazy to see someone go that you went to school with and knew. He was to damn young for this to happen. RIP Billy.
And thank you all that serve and risk your lives everyday helping out across the world.

Thank you to all those who serve, we all know its not easy going through the rigourous training, leaving your familes for extended periods of time, and just going throught he military lifestyle to protect your fellow americans and our freedoms.
