any ideas on laser eyes on the vapor, i thought it had the break beam type eyes? the one i got in today has some installed

All vapors use break-beam, laser eyes. Reflective eyes are for SFTs and autocockers.

If, for some reason, your transmitter doesn't glow red, send an email to Tech@MachinePaintball.com and see if you can get a new pair of eyes....Personally, I just re-solder a new LED in

Nah Never had a gun I couldn't fix myself. Just have 6 to fix right now so wanted to see which orings affect bolt return. Either way I'll figure it out. Thanks for the offer.

just happened to see this under gun reviews not sure if it's ;egit or not but mabye some hope for the hopper

Hey Nation,
I use the vapors as a PSP/NPPL divisional player, and the Vapor is my workhorse. I can bring 13 pods and my hopper on the field with a 4000k 68ci fill and know I can shoot every last ball. Typically the Vapor is so accurate I hit a pack, or hopper tip so the game doesn't even get that far. I am a member of the Palm Beach Viper organization and the Machine support has been outstanding. you will not be disappointed with the price you pay.

ALSO, try the hopper with the gun when it comes out

Yep, DBS posted that. I'm not sure if the Vipers have gotten a chance to test out the hopper....If they have, they're sure keeping quiet!

What type of board is in the vapor?
Yes i know it's a ape board but is it the eclipse board?
Just asking becouse i am a huge tadao fan an was thinking of buying a tadao board for it but i dont know if it would work.
Any ideas?

Ego9 size ape oled. I'm a tadao fan myself; I sent will an email about it already so we'll see what happens. The problem is that the tadaos are 3 button instead of two....which is why the ego9 virtue boards work...they only have 2 buttons

would much rather have a virtue board that would be kicken,(just a preference thing)

I have a Virtue OLED Ego 9/10 board in mine now. I haven't had the opportunity to take it for a spin yet.

I followed the tuning guide and my vapor is still chopping paint

it seems to chop when my hopper runs low on paint and after the first chop it'll just continue to chop everything else

I've rebuilt the HPR, New battery, rebuilt the bolt engine, tried different dwell/abs/breach delay/bolt return settings/FT, new detents/springs, and as well as resetting everything back to stock.

My vapor officially only makes soup and ken from machine stopped replying to my emails

Do you squeegy after the break? I found if I do not it will break almost every ball until I do clean the barrel.

I normally do, it is chopping/breaking at least one ball per pod

i ran several test at home where if it broke a ball i would clean out the entire gun reset and ran another pod... same thing

there was paint up in the feedneck around the eyes/detents a little bit into the hopper in each test, so it wasn't a barrel break

was worst when i was testing w/ redemption pro and ultra evil (i use a spire & rotor btw)

I've been having the same problem. I have yet to fix it. I may break 1 or 2 per 100 balls......enough to be annoying.

I'm starting to suspect that it maybe the ape boards inability to detect eye malfunctions

I noticed with my luxe and GT if i leave my finger in the breach it'll detect a eye malfunction and will tell me, while lowering down the cycle rate

w/the ape board it just assumes the eye malfunction is a ball in the chamber and would continue shooting 12.5 in till it detects nothing in the chamber

need to get a aftermarket board to test this...

I don't know about that. My eyes seem to be working fine. Plus....sometimes....I put my loader on......turn it on.....ball gets pushed into breach and detected. I fire ONCE.....it breaks. It feels to me that it's almost like the bolt is breaking the ball....one thought I had was the detents were too "strong".

i actually cut down the springs on the detents and that didn't work either

my luxe detents feels bout the same in pressure, i may take those springs out and put it in the vapor to give it a try

I also tried both pooty bolt and stock v2 flat face bolt... it's getting very frustrating, especially in my team practices
