i can sand blast. glass bead, what ever you want to call it. when i blast it, it will come out dust silver. you talk to me on aim and we work out prices, no 2 jobs cost the same. just send me the parts and ill blast them. im not a big company, im 18 and i do this at my dads shop, ive been blasting for 5 years so i know what im doing, every hole is plugged to ensure no sand gets into regulators,internals etc. i have some pix of the works i did, ive done my team mates 2k2 timmys eye covers, side plates, buttons, regulator, drop, asa, trigger and lpr. and i did my angel speeds feed tube that was dust black and my kapp barrel backing. I have some before and after shots (will post before 2k2 shots 2night)

do you have to anno afterwards so that it doesnt rust?

i never seen a part rust, because every gun, and gun part i know is made out of aluminum and that doesnt rust.but if you want i can put a clear coat over it. but this process is usally known before you get ur gun annod

just fyi, aluminum wont rust, so no worries about that. Thats a cool look too, good luck with your sales.

i just got this brought 2 my attention, i have spray paints and i will try it. but i will find a part and try on my own, then i will post results. i will try painting it and clearing it. Another thing i can do at my dads shop is GUN BLUE, its an anti rust finish, that is dark blue/black. that will be another experiment. and if it works its the same finish as real guns, colts, 1911s, so thats next on my agenda.
