This one is always funny : "I'm going to snipe."
Even though I try to explain the basic physics of paintballs, the fat guy decked out in full ghillie with the 150 lbs A5 or phenom still thinks his marker shoot further just because... well.. he has a long barrel and a scope.
Sigh...

sniped, snip·ing, snipes
1. To shoot at individuals from a concealed place.
2. To shoot snipe.
3. To make malicious, underhand remarks or attacks.
Just saying. I agree that going for "Long range" accuracy is, foolish. But to "snipe" or shoot concealed and stealth like is possible.

I agree that you can be shooting from a concealed place and be considered a sniper (or just an ambusher). However, I was refering to the fact that certain people don't understand certain basic facts about the world around them (such as two identical or nearly so objects exiting a barrel with similar rotation and velocity, as well as angle, will have similar flight paths.
Certain still think that putting a 24 inch barrel on your a5 will make it more accurate and shoot further. The same group will also put a 1 inch barrel on their A5 and call it an smg... sigh...

Playing open play on a Hyperball course the other day, and it was a mix of mechanical and electronic guns. I'm shooting my mirror (I have a DM7, was on semi) and the kid had the whole dye outfit, jersey, pants, headband, i4 mask, rotor 2010 NT. I'm shooting 5-6 ball bursts at his bunker to keep him down while my team moves up, he yells to the ref, "hes shooting too fast!"... ref tells me to slow it down so I did. Next thing I know, he pops out and sits on my bunker for a good 10-15 seconds walking the trigger... Ref doesnt say anything to him... I snap out and shoot once... face shot... needless to say.. felt good. Proceeded up the snake and won the game.

Working at a field.. I answer the phone and always get the question " how many walkons are coming out today?".. or "do you know what your turn out will be tomorrow for walkons?"
Or my fav question.. "is it raining there?"

This doesn't seem to terrible, unless you work at an indoor field. I live over an hour away from my field, and they can have different weather then I do.

Bro. You're the ****ing man.
Edit: Scrimmaged a local d2 team last weekend. Bunkered the last guy and accidentally shot him in the neck because he had a seizure when he tried to spin on me. Afterwards he tries to start a fight, slamming his mask into mine. Since when do division 2 players complain about **** like that? It wasn't pack, but the wolfpack guys do that to us all the time and we pat each other on the back afterwards.

My personal favorite stupid thing isn't said on the field. It's said here.
When the average dickhead 13year old says
"So I was just walking the trigger on my ________ and the first timer who I shouldn't even be playing against because I have more experience says 'Ref! Tell him to turn off full auto!' and I'm like 'LOL!!! I just have it on uncapped semi!!!!' "
Semi, ramp, full auto, doesn't matter. stop shooting up kids you're better than. Even if they have nice gear, doesn't matter, have some class or your lower than they are on my **** list.
I'm done with these threads.

My autococker is 10 years old. That being said, it still looks low profile, tactical, sexy and balanced. I overheard this kid say, "His gun is worth $5000 on the market."
