As of yesterday the rumor is Vegas is not happening. An official announcement is supposed to be made after NEO.

If the NPPL can't afford to pay out prizes from HB to X Factor and Vendetta...How the hell are they even thinking about a Vegas event?
NEO will be the final NPPL event, I'm calling it.

Of course its not! The league will be bought out for pennies on the dolor by then. No team is going to pay the extreme cost required to play in Vegas to go to such a **** event. Nppl these days are nothing more than a larger regional event. Actually, there are regional events that are nicer than nppl in some parts of the country and they can pay their bills

No Vegas!!! Maybe a scavenger hunt like the one a couple years back will bring back more players! Haha.. Sounds like we are going to be playing alot of the mini series for a while than huh

The 2010 one was the best one. The reason we decided to not hold one in 2011 ourselves was because we didn't think it could be topped. The NPPL held one on their own and it ended up being lame.

Just because Shawn Walker has apparently trained a monkey to answer e-mails doesn't mean the events will actually take place, not to mention the matter of prize money from past events still owed to X-Factor and Vendetta.

Well to be fair, if the NPPL doesn't have strong team numbers, then the Vegas could still be cancelled. You never know. NEO wasn't a good sign and Chicago is usually one of the NPPL's weaker events.

Haters of NPPL
Don't understand why some of you hate on a league that has been good for the sport for years. NPPL HB and Las Vegas has been the premiere staple event in the sport for years. Now that it is rebuilding does not mean it has lost it's history or things It can do for the future.
Maybe recommendations to Shawn instead of blasting about money paid or owed, etc is a good place to start.

Hahaha  So just because some monkey trained you to type and be a troll...should I believe you when you say that Vegas isn't happening? Just curious though, why do you spend so much time bashing a league that helped pave the way for tournament paintball? Do you get off to it? Does it make you feel better about yourself?
