Well thats not really worth selling at all then, I am just having some problems with it right now, as well as the previous owner. It was shooting great then started to sputter before locking up, and I replaced the o-rings necessary. How do you send it to Critical Paintball to get fixed? Just mail them the box or is there a specific way?

Aint worth selling it for that much for me, i think i am just gonna get it fixed over at CPS, put a virtue board and clamping feedneck in it, and new parts... ride it out until i am able to put it to rest in the coffin case.

sounds good these guns are worth so much more than they go for. I mean these are as good as shockers and dp g3s and pmr. It is an awesome gun. very easy to maintain.

Better than G3s and PMRs in my opinion.
There's some nice PL Shockers out there - Ton Tons, Evils, Nasty SFTs, Darks, Shocktech SFTs, Octane NXTs etc. even the stock '09 NXT isn't too shabby - but that's just aesthetics. For the more capable board, great trigger and easier maintenance, I'd take a Quest every time.
Quests are just unfashionable right now, and when NPS cleared stocks of OG Quests, they got the reputation for being a "cheap high-end" rather than a true high-end marker that just happened to be on sale. People automatically assumed that the Quest was on par with marker's that were of a similar price (and not on sale) and so not that good. The Quest's reputation hasn't really recovered since then..... not helped by the fact that soon after that FEP - at least in any active sense - ceased to exist. A lot of people didn't want to buy in to a marker brand with no company behind it to support them.
I really hope that FEP back on the scene and new products coming, that the Quest will become popular again. Might be a bit too much to hope, but maybe the resale values of the OG and '07 Quests would pick up as interest in new FEP products increases (not that I have any intention of selling mine any time soon).

Couldn't agree more that the Quest is better than G3's or PMR's. I loved my PMR, but it's not competitive with any of my Quests in any form. And G3, well other than weight, isn't even competitive with the PMR in any way IMO. I don't think there was ever a marker I owned that I had less love for than the G3.

I agree with that totally, and plus the shrinking size of the new markers isn't really benefiting my arm length at all. I would love to see a new feedneck soon, and not just the clamping add on, I would think maybe a future of the low profile feednecks would be cool to have. I am getting a box from usps today, and am gonna make sure my gun puts fear in the hearts of the local tourney players here!

it really is a great platform. dye could have sold a thousand more PMR's if they had bought the quest IP instead of using the one they did. But now Im happy that it stayed in the family. VIVA VIOLENCE!

considering it doesn't even have an ASA, definitely WAY more than I'd pay for one with what they're normally going for.

Without getting in to reasons and/or rumours, or who is said to have done what - which would invariably lead to the normal FEP forum finger pointing and blame game - the current owners of FEP have announced that as part of their relaunch, they have set up CPS as the main Quest service centre.
