That's the best explanation on why to do this sort of thing. You don't know if people will love it until they try it out for themselves.

Ive owned and used plenty of both types of guns... its not a big thing. I just don't see the pull and reasoning that being macroless is better....its just different. So you may remove a possible leak point. I can count on one hand the number of times Ive had a line leak or blow in the last 5 years.

A++ for design follow through and simple yet 100% detailed on design options ... Love ya and love this thread ... now if Dave himself still was online and would see this it would be GREAT .... just hope they do not steal your idea and give you no credit as 100% of most companies do.

So far Oreo, I've gotten a decent amount of work done. I've really had to go and refine some of your initial designs. To work with more of a comfort level to say the least. It's coming quite we I will have it up as soon as I can.

It's more of being a developed concept. It will up to Dye to actually manufacture it.

I'd love a macroless DM.. It just makes it more difficult machining wise because then you have to have extra air passages in the body. I don't think air passages in the frame are very practical other than the main air transport tube (being a straight line) because then it requires more setup from the machining standpoint..

But like rabidhobo said.. I think the more fun way to go would be to get an older DM and modify the hell out of the body..

hey smartwarrpartsplayer, any updates. I've started a new job which has me strapped for time but i get tomorrow off so i'll be doing more project work.

anyone see the dm12 review by mike, it was really good. he mentions the pm8 lpr placement! I'm not the only one!

I've been forced to read SOPs all week, cause im starting work in a lab but with it comes more funds. I might actually try and build this thing

probably obtain a dm12 or dm11 for parts and just work from there.
