I need a free, easy to use, movie maker or editor. For putting a slide show on then showing some videos in the middle. Any good programs you know of? Thanks..

I also need one with good avi support, I plucked an avi off youtube w/ a capturer that most freeware can't rear.

Windows Movie Maker should be just fine for that. It comes with Windows so you should have it. Just go Start>All Programs>Accessories.

Another good one is the Sony Vegas. Its not free though, but you might be able yo find it

I am using Windows Movie Maker and I want to import a video. I have it in one of my files, My Videos and My Documents and I can't find it. I finally find it and it says I can't import the file, it is not supported or something. It plays on quicktime and wouldn't play on windows media player. Any help?

Chances are wmv is your best bet, if that's what the program exports in. That or mpeg.
