MVPCS 3-Man Air Ball Tournament Series

Prizes: (*Based on 10 Teams per event)
Teams decide which prize they want!!! Over $4,000 in cash and prizes to be given away.*

Each tournament except the Championship Tournament

1st place - 7 cases of paint or Entry to next tournament and 5 cases of paint

2nd place - 5 cases of paint or Entry to next tournament and 3 cases of paint

3rd place - 3 cases of paint or Entry to next tournament and $25 MVP gift card

Series Champion / Championship Tournament

1st place - $1000 CASH plus additional prizes

2nd place - $400 CASH plus additional prizes

3rd place - $200 CASH plus additional prizes

Points:

Each tournament will offer a maximum of 100 series points for a first place finish.

Championship event is worth double points. (200 points)

Maximum total points for the series is 600.

Roster:

To be considered the same “team” throughout the series, a team’s current tournament roster must consist of at least two players from the team’s prior tournament roster.

Format:

All tournaments will be an eight game round robin format for prelims. The top four teams will then advance to finals and play a single game round robin format.

All games will be center flag.

Game Scoring:

15 points per kill

5 points per person alive

15 points for the flag pull

25 points for the flag hang

Not sure what you mean. This isn't replacing any other tournaments, this is MVP's 2008 3-man series.

How does the 8 game round robin work?
if you lose then do you still play?

i think how it goes is you'll play at least 8 games

round robin is your team plays each of the other teams the same amount of times

so you'll play 8 games for the prelims then the top 4 teams move onto the finals

on the website it shows that you can buy 500 for $20 could my team buy that instead of the $55 case?
Also how long does the series last? 1 wekend or a couple of weekends. And 1 more thing, do you have to pay for friends to watch?

You can pay for either a case at $50 ($5 discount for the tournament) or $20 per bag of 500 paintballs. Each tournament last one day. The series consists of 5 tournament whose dates are on the flier in the first post. There is no charge to watch.
