I would be interested in testing the Phenom kit. I play all of the scenario events at D-Day so my team practices monthly. I can test the kit on the A-5 as well if needed. I have posted other reviews of gear on PBN before. PM me for more info if needed. Thanks.

sup rap4. this is azntactical/cx...i would personally love to do an evaluation on the new kit...ive got the mags to do it already....owning 2 t68s (gen6) and everything else from you guys should say enough that im a rap4 fan...ive got the tippmann internals...just give me the a5 version...unless you're willing to just give me a ready to play marker for the eval...

since i already have experience in mag fed markers...for sure i should have high expectations for it as i have in the t68s...

i dont really go on pbnation so much so, probably wont get the chance to be chosen. but its worth the try to get noticed...besides...i might even put it on youtube...

Took my A-5 out for a spin as soon as I saw this kit (disappointed that I can't actually get it till April). I play every weekend and play rough, usually pumping it. I'd give my honest mid-west opinion on this.

I would test one of these on my x7 phenom. I could test it in the harsh Canadian winter for you.

Not sure if i qualify (I don't post here much) but I am seriously considering buy one for my BT and would love to see firsthand and answer some of my own questions, such as:

* where does the airline go, is it behind the magazine or at the base of the Stock (there is mixed info on the web)?
* a Feature is listed " - You can still use your hopper when you need to" does the still fit the RipClip hopper?
* Does it support all rap4 Magazines as well as all RAP4 magazines (are there any magazine i should not purchase)
* what is the thing (all the pictures but the grayed out one - http://www.rap4.com/paintball/store/...-paintball-gun) that is between the trigger and magazine and is this not included in the Kit?
* do you know if all the BT Delta items (top rail, sliding stock...) would work with the Kit?
* is the hopper breach designed for First Strike (so i could manually feed single rounds)
a picture of the other side would great to see (all the pictures i have seen where shooter's left, no right sides)

and will the testers be using the D-Mags? are they truely First-Strike ready?

As an owner of a T68 Gen6 marker, Im always visiting the rap4 site an rap4's forum ... must say these D-mags are a WELCOMED addition to the rap4 product line as $5 ea mag for the D-mag is far better then the $37 ea rap4 T68 mags currently available. As far as these conversion kits go ... a LOT of the questions being asked here are answered on the rap4 forum ...

sousey:
where does the airline go, is it behind the magazine or at the base of the Stock (there is mixed info on the web)? ... There is a flexi-air buttstock kit for your gun ... found here http://www.rap4.com/paintball/store/...-air-buttstock

Does it support all rap4 Magazines as well as all RAP4 magazines (are there any magazine i should not purchase)? ... Yes, the mag conversion kit accept ALL rap4 68 cal magazines, in regards to what to stay away from, that would be the older styled feedneck on the mags .... but I dont think u can buy them anymore so u should be good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the new D-mags as u can now shoot first strike with these mags

what is the thing (all the pictures but the grayed out one - http://www.rap4.com/paintball/store/...-paintball-gun) that is between the trigger and magazine and is this not included in the Kit? From what I can tell, you are referring to a part of the kit that covers where your air intake used to be ... if it wasnt included there would be a gap between mag well an trigger guard throwing off the overall appearance ... yes, it IS included to best of my knowledge

is the hopper breach designed for First Strike (so i could manually feed single rounds)
a picture of the other side would great to see (all the pictures i have seen where shooter's left, no right sides)

I dont believe you would be able to load rounds one at a time through the breach ... the mags them selves hold the rounds and 20 of them ... be it regular 68 cal paintballs or first strike rounds. You can load one clip with first strike rounds and other clips with normal rounds and dont forget about the ammo box mag that loads like a mag ( from under the gun ) but holds 250 rounds ( of normal 68 cal paintballs .. not FS compatible ).

I answered the questions I knew the answers too, and double checked my answers on rap4's forum before answering ... hope this information helps you guys out. As for me .. I bought a mag kit for my tippy 98 and soooo cant wait to get it

Got some new info looks like the $5 price is pre-order price. So I imagine they will sell 10 mags for $50 then by the time july rolls around will be $100 for 10 mags. Based on the $60 pre order mag kit goes to $120 upon release.

Got info from MIKE's site rhymes with mechpb.com

$10 per mag is still cheap.... considering the last mag fed gun I owned, the AT-85 it was $80-100 a mag

TACAMO Magazine Conversion Kit for...........

Will you still be able to use the cyclone feed on this kit or is it only for magazine only? For the 98 custom pro.

you can switch to cyclone by taking the mag conversion off and you can screw the cyclone back on

I would like to back up both Eric Engler's and Imhugeinjapan's ideas of being testers. They're both company owners who do very fine work indeed.

I'm Probably in no position to volunteer but I'd like to lol(I have an x7 and 2 1/2 a5's), but as for the price issue I'd have to agree with some other guys,120 is a bit too high,I like the 60$ but you'll probably make more going with like $80 to $99.99

Hope these work better than their "high-end" mags for the T68. I had a gen 6 and it's was a salad-shooter.
The follower in the mag would stick if there was the tiniest bit of grit in there. A ball would be left half-loaded and you got to spend the rest of the game cleaning out the damn gun. For that reason, I'm waiting to see how these pan out and I don't have high hopes for them.
