Trying to find out if we can build in a flood plain but the city's website is bad....hard to navigate through their zoning ordinance

just need to check cities master plan for the area. you wont be able to get flood insurance tho.

Just considering putting parking in it but the purpose of the plain is to absorb some and slow the movement of water. We might be able to do something on it but all trees in the flood plain seem to be protected and it's covered in trees so that probably shoots down the possibility if it was there.
