well I can finally release some photos of the G5. these are what the prototype looks like and some things will be a little different. The trigger is by far the nicest one DP has made.

The trigger looks a lot like the fusion hyper trigger they made. I just bit the bullet on a brown one.

The High Pressure Regulator receives direct pressure from the Stinger Frame low-pressure system, allowing a fluid path with an extremely durable design. Subsonic Bolt Engine

The G5's Subsonic Bolt Engine high performance is combined with a high efficiency. A lower pressure operation achieves accurate & high-powered performance - Achieved by DP's Standard. The Ported vents on the G5 Bolt generates fluid motion during bolt-actuation, while creating a subsonic flow from the pressure chamber and through the vented ports to cushion paint while delivering a powerful trajectory. Innovative DP Style Clamping Feedneck

DP Engineers continue to reinvent & improve technologies, such as our patent Clamping Feedneck & is now loaded with new features! Wave Trigger

The G5's Innovative Wave Trigger is fully milled & constructed with high-precise dual bearings & critical pivoting motion to replicate fluid-motion with extreme comfort. A heavy duty bracing structure, combined with a renovated OPR generating a low pressure operating system. High efficiency bolt and redesigned ABS breech delivering consistent cycling. We have redesigned durability and high-performance!

I just got one to play around with here at the shop moments ago. When I opened the box I almost freaking pissed myself with excitement....omg I'm going to go play with it, screw work related responsibilities this thing is awesome....

it is by far the simplest and easiest reg to work on I have ever seen. I had it completely apart and back together in under 2 mins including taking pictures.....the bolt engine doesnt look all that different, the back cap stem is slightly longer than a g4. There are some strange extra grooves on the inside of the body that im not really sure what they do but Ive only been able to mess with the gun for about 20 mins so far. Just got of the phone from ordering some for the shop....pics are uploading

The push to macroline-less trend holds. Started with the M3-A1, now the G5. Now waiting for a macroline-less rev-i and FX release. I say the next fusion should be FX3. They can be creative with the rev-i successor name.

Those grips look extremely comfortable - very reminiscent of PE grips. I just hope the grip frame is a bit thinner compared to the g3.

thats what i was about to say. but i dont want any fanboy saying "oh, DP is trying to copy the PE grips".

you know, i dont really want to start a conversation what the grip or the gun looks like because nothing out there looks like DP.

also i would prefer the the oring on the front breech should be remove and have the oring on the bolt tip instead.
