Personally, I dont think homosexuals should feel the need to supress sexual urges anymore than heterosexuals.

I'm not exactly an Anthiest but you do realize that the belief is simply that we share a common primate ancestor with what you refer to as "monkey" right? Just because a species line splits and evolves doesn't mean the other has to go extinct. If you search primate it will return several dozen different sub species of what you would refer to as "monkey". It seems not only logical but somewhat obvious to think that at some point all "monkey" sub species share a common ancestor. Since humans and monkeys are both considered primates due to the fact that we are mammals, have a certain way of seeing, share many similar traits, and use our appendages to grasp items; it once again only seems logical to believe that at some point we shared a common ancestor. In simplistic terms, it is similar to how everyone has that relative that you don't claim and run the other way when you see them in public. Just because you are different from them doesn't take away the fact that you are related.

Believing in a singular common ancestor reeks of Christian narrative and ought to be especially embarrassing for atheists. I'd place a good amount of money on the reality being far more complex than a retelling of Genesis.

I dont believe that a god or multiple gods exist because of the lack of evidence. My position is not one that says the idea or concept of gods is impossible but rather highly unlikely.

1. I do not hate things that I dont think exist. There are aspects of religions I do not like but this is not the same thing.

2. The beauty in the world is irrelevent to the existance of a diety. This is not a proof of anything other than we can agree that there is Beauty in the world.

3. I dont know how everything came into existance and I dont think that anyone else does either. Maybe some day we will. What we call "everything" may have always existed, or may go through periods of existing and not existing...and there are many more possibilities, a God creating it being one of them, I just dont think there is any reason to believe that.

1. Your confused. Being an atheist and understanding evolution are two different topics. While most atheists do understand evolution it is not imparitive.

2. Monkeys are related to humans. We share a common ancestor. If you want a more in depth answer, go study evolution.

3. Its actually comical that someone that doesnt even understand evolution or how it works is calling a group of people that typically do understand it "idiots".
