Hello everyone,I would like to introduce my self, my name is Ryan and I am with Blast Zone Paintball we are located in Middletown Ohio. I would also like to thank those of you who came out to our grand opening even with the weather,we had a great turn out but we are going to do a grand opening again this weekend with a local radio station free food and drink and a raffle also join us on facebook for giveaways. Currantly we have 6 woods ball courses and each is very different,one of which is more of a speed ball style.Our big pro shop and indoor field are scheduled to start going up before the end of this month,and our other fields should I say should start being build in a month sometimes getting grass to grow is a little harder than we think, we currently have 20 acres but also have another 80 we hope to soon make plans for so it will be a 100 acre park.And please come out play look around and give you input,we are building this for you as a player/team....www.blastzonepaintball.com

Time to tweak the fields a bit got good feedback from this past weekend.Going to change a few things in the Speed woods,some players ask for more stand- up bunkers...so going to give them some

We are doing a 3 man field,and yes it will be nice,but if all goes well we can add in the future a 5 or even 7 man indoor field we will have to see how much business we get and what everyone is asking for

You put in a regulation size 5 man xball field I could see you getting TONS of buisness in the winter.

But any size indoor would be nice for now. I hate cold and rain.

I can echo the sentiment that you'd see a lot of business during the winter months from a 5/7-man oriented indoor field. There's nowhere else close to Cincinnati with an indoor, but plenty of demand for it.

Hey, Ryan place is looking good - can't wait to get out and play. Just wanted to thank Derrick (sp?) for showing us around yesterday - rain and all.

If you guys can put half the effort into the field as you have into Land of Illusion it's going to be epic!

You've already put more work into this place then most fields I've been to.

Quick question - are you guys going to be open the weekend before July 4?

You build a REGULATION sized Xball field, with room for 7man, and you WILL GET BUSINESS! There are NO other options in Ohio, with the exception of Warzone in Toledo, duing the off-season/rainy-season months.

Ohio tournament players have been waiting for a facility like this for years...

Hey Ryan, It was great coming out and playing with you guys this past Saturday for your Openinning day. Place looks great, and I See huge potiential all over. As I said, and almost everyone on here, once you guys get the indoor up and running, you'll be on top of a gold mine. Added to the fact, your running an outdoor field too, (which I might add, NO ONE in Ohio that I'm aware of has had both indoor/outdoor fields together) you guys will be unstoppable. I gave Derrick all my info, and suggestions, and look forward to hearing back from you guys, plus I'll be around.

Patrioticpb,/jermey hey thanks for coming,and you really got our minds going.We will be a priemer facility and hope to be unstoppable,in order to go past the plans you already know of and seen in progress we need the people to start rolling in and playing the woods courses

Also, what's the policy on paint? Field paint only or will you allow players to bring their own?

At this time it is field paint only it is empire custom blend.when we get more room we will offer other paints

I'll shoot whatever, so long as it comes out of my gun in one piece. The Empire paint has always been pretty good from my experiences. I just know that a lot of the 5-man squads around have a paint deal of some sort set-up so they can practice cheaper.

For example, my team all pays $100 at the beginning of the month and then we pool it all together to purchase a skid of paint (it's cheaper in bulk, obviously). We then use that skid to practice with for the month. It's really the only way we are able to compete at the national level, practices get too expensive otherwise. As such, I was hoping you'd allow some sort of bring-your-own program for such teams. An example would be that some fields have a different admission or air price depending on if you are shooting field paint or bringing your own.

Works for me, I'm sure the bA system will be out in your area at some point. We're all traveling to Chicago this weekend for the PSP event, but I'm hoping to at least come check it out the following week, even if it's just me.

I'm mega excited to bust out my 'mag for some woodsball though.

No worries there man. I think they are planning on a indoor 5 man Regulation size XBall field though, not a 3 man. As for the turf, well they've got some plans.....

On that note, Rgrubbs44, I've got some ideas to help you guys out on this indoor stuff too.
