BLACK MARKET PAINTBALL will be holding an open tryouts Saturday, Jan 12th and Sunday Jan 13th at Hollywood SPorts on the main stadium turf field. We are encouraging everyone interested in playing tournament paintball for the 2008 season to come out. BLACK MARKET is looking for skilled players who are able to make a commitment to the team. That means being able to miss school and/or work to go to events outside of California. The team will be competing in all Xtreme Paintball Sports League (XPSL) events for the 2008 season and one National Professional Paintball League(NPPL) event in San Diego.

To be chosen for a tryout you must be able to attend and afford an ENTIRE season of the 2008 XPSL Rookie division, weekends of practice, and boxes of practice paint. Players must be well rounded on the field, meaning you feel comfortable where you are placed to play, work well each other and have good sportsmanship. If you cannot afford an entire XPSL season of 5 events, you plan to cheat, and/or do not have your own reliable equipment, then don't bother reading this thread. Previous tournament experience is not required but is recommended for a better chance of making our team.

LA Lunatics is looking for team members. At present time we have seven players and are looking to reach ten members. Based out of LA county.

The OC Heroics are having tryouts for its new 2008 squad. Our team is looking for players who will be dedicated and have a positive attitude. Were currently looking for 1 front and 2 back players on the first squad and its an open call on the second. Both team will be competing at the Nppl HB (D3), XPSL events and all the Splat Riot... Must have tourney ready gear, transportation, and be over the age of 16 years old to tryout… If you are under the age of 16. You must have reliable transportation and financial support... No egos or flake please!!! We take our team very serious. So please don’t waste our time and yours as well…

No previous team experience? Thats ok, we also have a second team with plenty of experienced players who can show you the in’s and out’s of the game...
