Yup, cause you can totally use one example of a car to generalize about all of a brand's cars. I'm sure no Honda has ever been broken ever

I was stating something that happened to me. Not generalizing about the brand as a whole.

Price range is $25k max. Suggestions? I want something where parts are prevalent at auto zone, so sadly no BMW/Audi/Etc.
Just get a newer v6 mustang they win all the comparison tests and are just as fast as the previous v8s. If you wanted to chip and exhaust a wrx, they are always fun to drive as well.

Chip and exhaust. Lol.

The newer V6 mustang may make 300hp, but that's a bit deceiving. It can't be tuned to make much more, the gears aren't very "sportily tuned" and it is a bit of a heavy car.

Plus, he's a dad. He needs a 4 door. Mustangs are lacking there.

Get an 06 WRX Wagon. AWD, Turbo, and you'll be the coolest dad on the block :nododgy:

Legacy GT Spec B, or if you want a slightly bigger car, a newer Legacy Turbo (manual only though).
I'd also check out a 4-door GTI, I think parts for them may be more common than the new GLI.

Depends on condition, but generally I'd say no. Mileage/transmission?

The vette will nickel and dime you to death if its not in good condition. I'd pass with that mileage. 87 isn't a great year either for that body style. You miss all the 88' updates.
