If whoever records/masters an album cranks everything up as loud as they can be, sound quality from every instrument/voice/sound suffers.
The key to good sound quality is to use good equipment and codecs and not to push any of it past their limits.
When things start getting clipped like that, they're pushing things past their limits.

High today of 55. Cali sucks if you're not gay, rich, or brown, but at least our weather doesn't involve snow burying cars. That is just sucky.

It's okay. I didn't even put any effort into shovelling my car out. Made a path to my door to open it, brushed off my windshield so I could see, and pulled it right out.

I may actually need some halp seeing that you seem to be looking this **** up way more than I'm willing to lately.
My parents want a torch for the house. I'm thinking something that's 2x18650 or similar. It won't be carried, it can be big. Needs to be a good thrower. For convenience's sake, rechargeable wouldn't hurt.
My brother's got a streamlight that has a little charging dock thing, might tell them to get one of those.
