I'm getting a loader and 6.5 pods before the tank runs low enough that the gun can't function. But I also have my dwell tuned high enough that I'm using air for the entire control of the barrel, a NDZ LP can with an LP modded sleeve and no HE O-ring. I'm sure without the LP mods and an HE o-ring I could definitely get a few more pods but that's not what I'm going for. Right now dwell is at 12ms with a .684 Eigenbarrel and pressure is around 140-150 psi.

With my eigen bolt I get a hopper and 8-9 pods. Before the eigen I was getting a hopper and 7 pods. I spent alot of time matching orings, I normally use a 687 or 684 insert. I dont underbore much. I use a stock non he can. Low dwell. Maxflow tank reg set at 600psi. A propperly tuned shocker can do amazing things.

Being able to use a shocker in a 10man tourney, empty all you pods and hopper and not have to worry about your air is priceless

I routinely got more than that with a 45/45 6 years ago. All I had was a sprung ndz bolt and an adjustable guide. Hell, before I sprung the thing, put the adjustable guide in and took off the HE o-ring I got about 800 shots with just the ndz bolt.

Haha, you know Lurker, I had to leave the sport for awhile. When I left, Smart Parts was still going strong, the Luxe forum was a sub of the SP, WDP still existed, so did WGP, and the Eigenbolt was in development prepping for production with a large cult following.

When I came back, Smart Parts had died, DLX had taken off with its own forum, WDP shut its doors ending the Angel legacy, WGP disappeared, and the Eigenbolt is in development prepping for production with a large cult following.

Having said all that, glad you are sticking to the project and I can't wait to get my hands on one of these Eigenbolts!

I hate to jack threads but i havent seen some of you guys posting elsewhere often and you guys seem to know what's going on... does the adjustable bolt guide really make that much difference? I can usually only get hopper and 5 pods off my 68/45 and I've got sprung HE bolt/HE can with all the nicely fitted o-rings.

am going to replace my cp reg with the stock maxflo on my nxt and see how much of a difference that makes. is the stock SFT maxflo better performance-wise than a standard cp? just curious.

and the previous owner of my nxt got the he bolt polished, but I'm not sure how much of a difference that has made. I stopped using ego oil on it and went back to sl33k, as the oil wore off way too quickly.

Polishing any surface meant to hold onto lube just seems asinine and stupid to me.

Use the stock reg, Ive heard they have a much better recharge rate than CP. I dont know anything about adjustable bolt guides.
