The Mtac is cool and all, but I think they should've made it mag-fed. The Defender and the DAM are cool in their own rights too, but I couldn't spend $1300 on a marker that I would only really use at scenarios or maybe occasionally for woods.

the mtac came out in 09 i don't think there was much in the line of magfed going on then.

it wasn't magfed.

There wasn't much in the line of a hopper fed milsim gun that cost around $1000 out of the box and wasn't as versatile with customizability as the other guns on the market.

like since it has that super concise low kick, you know what it could go fantastically in?

Or if that'd make the engine jut back too far, there's always the option of putting it iiiinnnn aaaaa.........

In that case, you could build it kind of like the d'fender and make it paint in the stock that feeds into the breech like a normal paintball gun and have compressed air charges in the magazine.

Since the guns can shoot so far into the tank these days, it wouldn't sound like it's sputtering and dying, but just under a certain pressure it'd just instantly cutoff somehow (at this point in time, we could even make it an electronically controlled feature if there's some sort of manifold plate with sensors for that kind of **** on it like the GTi) to prevent the gun from sounding retarded when a mag is used up.

That also means that less paint is wasted, but that does also mean you have to carry pods and magazines, which is kind of annoying.

Real quick question here. Have an opportunity to pick up a much needed pressure tester for my new closer. Thinking about asking for his extra proficiency engine as well. Says it's for Gen 1 Marqs. Is mine a gen 1? And is the proficiency engine worth 100+ dollars?
