EDIT - OK, it's clear that some folks didn't get the memo. So, here's the rules.

1. All standing PBN rules and Terms of Service still apply in here. This is not the wild west.
2. All standing APS forum rules still apply in here.
3. Very specifically, absolutely NO BST of any kind. That means, no posting that you have an item for sale, a service available (this one really gets me - those people engaged in providing paintball services and/or running stores may be looking at Commercial Spam issues if this one pops up - those are 3-point infractions), discussions of pricing, "check out my sig" posts, "PM me for info" posts. This kind of posting will get this OT gone faster than you can imagine.
4. No raiding the other OT's. Shouldn't even have to worry about this one, but I'd rather not have some rules lawyer coming back with this issue and saying "nobody said we couldn't go mess with the Ego OT!".
5. Do not ask for, pass along, or post nudity. This one's in the TOS, but it bears repeating here. The mess that was the girl thread is still a sore topic.
6. If a known BOS user is spotted in the OT, please PM a mod. Not doing so will result in the closure of the OT. This is a big one, too.

Ramm, essentially .50 is an attempted format change that while seemingly well intentioned, doesn't take into account the vast resources and development that the paintball industry has invested in the .68 size. While bolstered by Spyder and a few others, not many of the mainstays of the paint production industry have jumped on board to this new format, which totes such features as "less painful" and "more bang for your buck". Planet Eclipse just released a drop in mod for Egos/Eteks to use this smaller ball format, and this has ruffled the feathers of allot of paintballers. The worry is, why are people buying .68 caliber markers now when the industry is set to change its standard. This of course is bad for older collectors and even newer markers, as it is hard to foresee Matrix's and Angel's having drop in mods for this smaller format. So everyone is in a panic, people are either poo pooing it or toting it as the next revolution, money is being made and panic is setting in.

definatly just picked up a stainless freak back for $5 nib..... looks kinda sexy on my cobra... but idk....

eh i had one on my NYX matrix, it was way too heavy. Even on the DM4 its way too heavy, and i want to get a dye UL for my angle and maybe one for my matrix. The unitech i have doesnt match the angle at all, and the dye 1piece boomstick is WAY too heavy, the 10inch i have is probably 1.5x the weight of my freak (regular). But the SS back did look great on the NYX

I don't understand why .50 cal even matters now that rof has been capped so low. To make the game more interesting we need to set it up (the field) like it was back in the day. Paintball today blows.
