If you flip the merlin extrusion 180 cocker threads don't work. They bleed threw on the bottom. ICD thread might work. but you might as well design a body with standard threads off a well know barrell.
Compare what a merlin extrusion would cost compared to getting a rectangular block milled to the specs you want. My cost was about the same.
The stacked tube design I have is around 2.25 inchs tall.
I have been toying with making a body kit. This would be a everything but the electronics. You could literally take the electronics out of any stacked tube design and put it into the new body and have a new marker. This was one of the future things BlueFork is possably coming out with.

hey is it possible to redo the air passage in a stock b2k body to eliminate the manifold altogether?

I think we will be allright leaving it how it is. Plus, I was entertaining the idea of the Ego style feedneck that has a tube machined from the body blank. That would eliminate stripped threads. Plus, I do beleive itd be easier to machine that on CNC then tapping those fine threads.

Also, on the bottom of the extrusion, there could be a cut so that the solenoid sits closer to the bottom tube, which would be the rammer set up. Even with that, integrating a manifold into the body would be possibly easier than making manifolds.

Oh um, the question that hasnt come up is what solenoid would be used? Humphrey work fine, but if there is something better....why in the hell not use it?

Whoever would pitch into this project, we need to get a Chat room or something going to get all these ideas together. I think 5-10 of these would be really awesome!

You want a manifold in your marker. If you strip the fine threads that hold the solenoid in place you can just throw it away and get a new oneThis is cheaper then replacing the body. If you have the barrell threads, feedneck, LPR, HPR, wireharness, board, microswitch and grips all generic the aftermarket parts are already built into the market.
Cutting feedneck threads into the body is way cheaper then cutting a feedneck. Plus it opens the aftermarket parts.

If there is enough interest I can start a forum on a non ICD site to talk about this more.

How is this for serious?

I didn't finish all the air routing as that may change quickly. As it stands this is 2.35" tall, 1" wide.

Well nothing has been done quite yet... it's more like being in a conceptual phase.

I think we should make the marker wider, grip and body, but as short as possible, give us some room to work with, large passages and whatnot; as long as it's not as wide as an angel!

Wider isn't going to do a whole lot more for us...

Wouldn't the rammer work better and be able to be shorter? I'm only talking .15-.20 inch or so

That would throw everything pretty much out of wack.
