Dan I know this is probably redundant but once you place a FINAL prize list we will choose a division.

Darkwulf makes my point. Players should choose a division on where they feel they best compete with others of the same skill level, not based on the prizes...
Wasn't really trying to make any point. My sons and I have only done 3 tournies ever(all MPS) and would like to get prizes somewhat close to what we shoot now. We ate it in our first MPS tourney but finished about mid level in the last 2 but we run drills at our house without firing the markers and we try to play as often as we can. But I do understand the point about the sand bagging that may go on also. So we are just waiting to see what Dan's final say is on prizes. We would really like to stay at level 4 for atleast this season to get more experience but we were asked by a few teams at the end of the 08 season if we were gonna bump up to L-3 eventhough by the rules we don't have to.

This is the way I look at it. I really like Dans Idea to make the prizes better as you move up levels. And his entry fee cost is very very reasonable for every level, for what he is planning on giving away. You are not going to find prizes like these in any other series around. One thing that I thought was dissapointing in last years series was the little amount of teams that played in L1. The reason that I believe that there wasnt very many teams in L1 was because you could pay less entry and play L2 and still get the same prizes as L1. So I think that a lot of teams didnt bump up to the L1 level and just played L2. Offering to give better prizes in L1 will hopefully help with the amount of teams that enter L1. Just like in the PSP prizes get better as you move up divisions. This is the way that I think every series should be. If you want to win better prizes, practice more and get better and bump up. Its just going to take time.
I dont know what to say about sandbagging. I do not have any respect for anyone who sandbags. I never have sandbaged a tourney and never will. I dont think it will be as big of a problem if prizes get better the higher the division is.
Dan, whatever you end up deciding with what you are going to give for prizes, I give you mad props with still wanting to do these tourneys with all the stuff you have to put up with at each one. I am hopefully looking at putting one team in each division this year. GOODLUCK in 09!

Glad to see you put my prize Idea into effect Dan.
NEK should have 2 teams put in L2 or maybe L1 again if there are any teams even signed up for that
