ah ok I see what you're doing there.
The body and frame I picked up I was considering doing some milling/grinding/sanding and other evil things too... we got a new laser engraver machine at work so I might practice on the body first before I molest it

Alright, just wondering if you'd possibly be willing to let it be used for research on this lpr idea I've gt going.
Two more design possibilities.
Yes I know they are really out of proportion I threw these together in like five minutes.

share some love.
and interest in cutco/kabar.
XSV, can you draw out a bit more of the gun?
Also: Why not make a VA that's 1cm taller so you can make it concave in the back portion (by trigger guard) by about 1-1.5cm and then make it fit an 06 Cyborg LPR?
Those are more consistent and more precise LPRs and are also hand adjustable, I think. If they're not, you still have a better LPR which will more closely match the milling of the 07s.

I'll be packing my car tonight, I KNOW there was a marker you mentioned you wanted to use of mine, what was it? I'll bring that along.

I have to say that my OCD gets the best of me with forward pointing LPRs. It pisses me off to get a hit on the front of the marker because cleaning out the screw in the front can be a *****.
The idea of having the LPR behind the HPR (sounds suspiciously similar to a PM8, btw) is a great idea. I would also recommend making a lock ring for the HPR so you can lock it in the proper orientation with the macro facing the trigger guard (like how an AKA 2 Liter reg works).

Same here, the lpr cap drives me crazy. I believe the PM8's lpr is in the body though but its the same idea, its also like that in the Gen 5 Marqs. I really just need the time to map out the air flow, Im not concerned about fitting the lpr behind the hpr it's more an issue of how the hp and lp air will make it to their respective flow ports on the body. Also the locking srcew poses a bit of an issue but it will come together, just give it some time.

ya I was wondering about the locking screw for the asa. Did you mean map out the airflow in the quest body or in the new asa/lpr?

Well hopefully I can get the new lpr assembly to get the air where it needs to go without body modification.

YeloSno you got mine already so hit me up whenever. May be a little slow to reply because I'm writing a paper but I'm interested to see what you got up your sleeve.

I do.
So what do you guys think about the draw-out?
Think of the GMAX Shocker's VA, for reference.

sorta like this- I think it could be executed better than the gmax though
problem I'm seeing here if you're using the stock reg with the macro tucked making lpr adjustments would be virtually impossible... unless it had a knob or adjustable collar kinda like an adjustable countersinking tool would be adjusted
