I was wondering if the EPL ever considered starting a pump division in addition to the speed ball play? Is there even a possibility of this coming about anytime soon? A bunch of us from PA made the conversion from speedball to pump and are having trouble finding tournaments, and i know theres plenty of players from Virginia and Maryland that im pretty sure would come play if given the opportunity; because as of now, the only significant pump venues around here seem to be NPPL and PSP.

I'm mainly posting to see where this goes, however the CFOA runs pump the day before the event so it does not conflict with anyone else playing another division. The PSP runs pump on Sunday so anyone knocked out of the event that wants to play can. NPPL runs pump at the same time as the actual event and allows players to play both at the same time (however there were major schedule issues with this at NPPL DC this year.) If its only a one day event and you don't want a conflict with your other divisions. You could start the pump division later in the day after the divisional prelims end and then run it at the same time as the quarterfinals, semi finals and finals. Usually pump has a smaller team turn-out so this might work. If not the CFOA/PSP approach works best from what I've seen and played in.

The real question is do they want players playing in more then one division? If so the above applies, if not then time permitting they could add a pump division to play whenever.

I will listen to what the players have to say. Let me know what you are looking for when considering format, number of games, entry, paint, prize. I will be planning for next year in October. Starting the discussion now would be a positive move. Any input should be realistic.

there are too many agglets on the east coast, they all think pump is gay. i want to go back to CA, at least there i'll have people to play pump with. i hope this does happen, i'd love to see more people play pump.

i will surely be pondering this over the next few months, it would be awesome to have a well put together "local" pump series, as long as we can get a decent turnout.

I would love to discuss this with whoever is interested and if there is a division I can assure the EPL that RC will have at least 1 team.

Format:
-3 man with sideline coaching
-Race to 2
-10 team cap with 4 teams entering finals
-roster limit 5 players and 1 staff

Game numbers:
-same as normal 3 man

Entry:
-early entry $100
-Late entry $130

Paint:
-Epl paint

Event Prizes:
-1st place 100% entry paid to a epl event that season and metals
-2nd place 50% entry paid to a epl event that season and metals
-3rd place 25% entry paid to a epl event that season
and metals

Epl Cup prizes:
1st place-3 Empire sniper pumps
2nd place-3 E-Flex goggles
3rd place-3 empire pants

Sounds pretty good to me, I'll run it by the team and see what they think. I personally don't care for coaching and I know some of the more established pump teams don't ether but thats the leagues call.
