And it's a pain to find Snow Leopard OS disks, which is why my older MB Air is still on Leopard.

My Toshiba was running pretty good for a while. Now it seems slow compared to my SSD desktop.

I have a toshiba x200 which is still allright, just had the mobo and gfx replaced under warranty. The laptop itself is from 2007, but the sli still runs games allright. Don't really use it for much anymore though.

i jsut have my laptop and then my mom and i share an imac (pretty much mine also) but i dont use the laptop cause i use my tablet instead of it

for 95% of school stuff, tablet is better than a laptop. better battery life, lighter and thinner so it is easier to carry in the backpack, doesn't have cooling fans that need to run, and easier to play games when you get bored
