2007 DP Fusion?

I picked a pretty much brand new 07 DP Fusion Limited Edition for a good price. I just want to know if it's still a good, usable marker. I mostly play casual woodsball, but I've been looking into getting into some speedball and tournys. I found a good tournament for beginners at a local field, and I want to know if it will hold up. The minimum age at the tournament is 10, and you're allowed to use rentals. So it should be pretty funny. I got off topic, I just want to find out if I will look like a fool and feel like one using this gun. Will it still shoot well? It's got a 6 mode board on it with semi, 2 full autos, and a few ramping modes(Millenium, PSP, ect.).
Thanks!
Here's the gun.

should work just fine for you. but my question is, why wouldnt you do some research on the marker before buying it?

I got it off ebay, there was like 11 minutes left with no bids yet so if I was gonna scoop it for the price I got it at I had to go fast. I read reviews, it's rated a 9.6 out of 10 on pbreview.

Yeah, its a really nice gun. One thing you want to do though is call up DP and have them send you a new regulator piston and seat as most of the stock ones fail and you get reg creep so after 1 minute of not shooting your first shot will be 400fps and very dangerous.

It is a really nice marker and simple to maintain. In addition to the new reg piston, get some Dow 55 to lube the orings.

really the only thing that needs to be lubed is the ram, which i would recommend using planet eclipse gun oil or something thin like that. MAYBE even some Dye slick lube, but nothing heavy on the rammer. And dont lube your bolt, just keep it dry and clean. Lube will do more harm then good because it will collect dust and dirt more easily and scratch your breach and such.

I'll get some gun oil for it, thanks. I don't think the reg will be a problem, the person who sold it to me ran a bag through it to make sure everything was working.

Trust me on the reg though, it will go. Just a matter of time, save yourself the headache down the road. It's $20 shipped for the new reg seat and piston. super easy to put in, i can walk you through it if/when you get it.

If you paid more than like $10, you paid way too much.

Right there, its $15 with $15 UPS Shipping. But what you can do is just call them and have them ship USPS Priority for $5. Iv'e done it twice over the phone, they still havent updated their shipping rates on their site..

Is this it? Also, I got the Fusion LE, does that affect the reg problems?

I have 2 of them and they hold up fine.. a little on the heavy side compared to more modern guns but all in all great guns.. and if you want to squeeze more out of it look up lurker paintball and pick up his ram poppit combo. and if you wanted the use it in tourneys you would need to get a new board but 7th element has a board/ trigger combo for 30$ or so..

Virtue also has a nice board for $30 which was very suprising that the price was that cheap. I just installed it a couple days ago.

Firebird, I read they fixed the reg creep problem with the v2 and the LE. Is that true?

im not 100% sure but i think v1 and v2 were just the boards. And im not sure about the LE, only way to find out is to take apart your reg. The one on the left are the old internals. You want the one that has the reg seat on the piston itself.
