the best bet would be to talk to psp, and fund the 7man addition to psp. as it looks when it comes to psp, flash enough money and you get to make the rules, no reason you cant have nxl and 7man.

I personally do not know the details of this new league, i just stated what was said on PBreserve, but when Tom does something he does it to his full potential, which is amazing. So if this is true and Tom and Chuck start a league expect it to be TOP NOTCH! Every team in paintball will want to be apart of it.

This is pretty legit guys, I know for fact Pro Team owners are being contacted for their commitment of support.
There are no-nonsense guys in paintball like Tom Fore putting in some real effort to push this thru.
There has also been some interest shown by a proven extreme sports entity who has a successful 20+ year track record

HB is paintball and Chuck friendly, despite what anybody thinks.

The attitude here is that something has to be done to fill the void left by NPPL's demise.

Anybody who doesn't view Tom's efforts as positive and honorable please go away.

Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember when the old BELL telephone company was broken up by the government due to the monopoly that they had. Many,many,many "little" BELL telephone companies sprung up from that, and competition was GREAT for the consumer (drove prices down, and gave consumers CHOICES...)

Same thing here with the demise of the NPPL, just look at all of the "little" NPPL's starting up. This will give the consumers, (the tournament player) CHOICES to pick from, and hopefull keep entry fees in "check".

Not everyone likes Xball...the ability to hold your trigger down and fill a loader with your pod and running doesn't mean your playing paintball.

sounds like they are sort on capital to fund this...chuck is good at finding $$ though.

Honorable? Sure. I've no doubt he only wants what's best for paintball.

Positive? On that, I'm not so sure. I'm not sure it's negative, either, so don't go get all angry. I just don't know if it's in all of our best interests to keep splitting the focus and further taxing the sponsors and diluting the player base amongst multiple leagues. I don't think having an NPPL and PSP competing with each other was good for the sport. And I'm growing more and more certain that spending the money necessary to run a national league is one of the least effective ways of marketing product to the paintball world... at least, the paintball world that pays full price for things.

So, while Tom might be well deserving of support, I'm not sure this idea does.

But, I could be wrong.
