Any of you play anything for your school? I'm looking to play DIII football wondering if anyone else has experience here. Also, whats intercollegiate like as opposed to regular?

paintball, if you want to count that (school doesn't, we're not even a club sport, since that would mean they have to give us practice space and money).

I had a football scholarship, but decided to turn it down. I'm going to re-apply and sport transfer because I want to play again.

no varsity sports for me, just club and intramural.

my main thing is playing with the paintball club. i started the club in spring 08, we became recognized spring 09, and should be getting regular funding for spring 10.

i also played ultimate with the club team for a year, and still play with them at occasional practices, but no tournaments anymore.

and i play intramural flag football and soccer

it's just tulane kids competing against tulane kids. anyone affiliated with tulane can make a team, so some of the teams get pretty serious, but most of us just like to play. most of the games are pretty laid back. it's basically a tulane wide league with playoffs and all, but it doesn't get especially competitive until the playoffs. mostly because the super competitive teams are all that's left.

Paintball at EKU. We took 16th in NCPA class AA nationals in only our second year as a team. We're the highest funded club sport on campus and will soon be one of two college campuses in the nation with our own full sized x-ball field, complete with compressor.

question for those who may know. Say penn state has their DI ncaa team, intramural and intercollegiate. Whats the difference between intramural and intercollegiate? and would they be tackle with pads?

Intramural= sports within students at one school. Can be either Padded or touch/flag etc.

Intercollegiate= sports against other colleges. I'm assuming it can also be both.

what school do you go to
