yea...RPS paint(whoever owns that name now) isn't big in my area anymore unfortunately. It's mostly Valken, Draxxus and GI.
What i wouldn't give for the days of when Ultrachronic and ultra evil were availible readily...it was like shootin doods with pink or orange pancake batter!

I handloaded some .270 cartridges last year that worked great. I have no time now, but I've got plenty of factory Winchester loads to use this year.
I'm pretty excited to try it out. Hoping tomorrow will be the day. Never shot one before, but I want to extend my deer season and this is something I can experiment with for a long time.

wtf, u guys are open already? we can't Bow hunt until October 1, and we can't gun hunt until November 17th! this makes me quite upset!
I use 175 Gr Copper Jacketed Frangible Hollow Point bullets i pull from Dynamic Reaserch Technologies cases, with about 56gr of powder for white tail. Blows real big holes

Actually minimal damage to usable meat. As long as its not a heart/lung combo. Which I usually try to avoid anyways, because deer heart is good with fafa beans and a good chianti..

No, I'm just planning ahead. The Saturday before Thanksgiving is when the normal gun season starts. Goes for 9 days and muzzleloader for another 10 after that. I don't bow hunt, so I have no clue when the start/end is.

Depends on what you eat/use. I don't usually eat the heart, I don't use the hides, and there's not much meat on the ribs anyway. I go for the vitals.

Neck shots are nice like that. But I can hit something the size of a football easier than I can a 3" wide spinal column.
Now that I'm thinking of it, maybe I should tan a hide or two this year just to try it. Time to do some reading up.
