Looking for Your Opinion!
I have a F8 marker, works great! I am looking to buy another DP.
I have been looking at the G3 and/or the G4, I would like somthing that i could up-grade alittle, Or should i just stick with the F8?
I have only played with this gun for only about 10 mo. and never had an issue, Thats why i want another..POPPIT or SPOOL?...Thanks.

Stick to what you have if you've had no issues and it handles what you need it for.
The g3 was a nice platform but once you replace the bolt, trigger, and board you could have bought a nicer marker with better performance. If you can find an already upped one for cheap and you wanna try it out go for it - just remember resale is in the gutter and you will pretty much be stuck with me.

well if your looking for smoother and more quiet shot then i would look for a used g4 that has a techt bolt.

Or.......have both a REV-I and a F8 (or 2) .
Back on point - Monroe116, the F8 is a fine marker and you could spend a little to upgrade it a little (if you haven't already) and you will have a marker that can run with just about any other poppet at a fraction of the cost.

its more like after 2006 when the A1 came out. that gun is awesome but the quality control was bad. it wasnt ready for the public and it needed some more testing. WDP died with the A1 and noone was interested with the A1 fly when it came out. the SB can shoot 15 pods of paint and then some. which high end marker now this days you see doing that? the angel is ahead of its time but not reallly good with its marketing.

Thanks for all the in-put fellas...I did end up getting a really good deal on a G3iq..And I'm keeping the F8...I will do some up-grades to both but they both seem to be really nice markers for what I paid for them..I will post pics as soon as I get home....Thanks again .

I had a revi at one point, they are freaking awesome, but no matter what I always shoot semi, as opposed to psp or nxl, and the revi had the worst trigger ever, and no major company makes a upgraded trigger for it

The gun doesn't make the player man find what feels good to you.its personal preference not what someone says is better.Jus cause you have s *****in gun doesn't mean your s *****in player.do what the one guy said n put the money into playing more n see where it takes you.

i personally prefer the f8 to the g4 and g3.
f8>g4>g3.
i very recently was able to take an f8 from fully stock to fully uped and feel the difference. lurker ram, compressed springs, Violent bolt, virtue board.. the gun shot nicer than alot of guns ive used. I currently shoot a marq closer and alien independence, both known for being very nice shooting poppet valves and i still reallly really liked the upped f8.
the f8 will always be worlds more reliable than the g3 and g4 (even though both are not hard to maintain, they will give you a small issue at some point. its just one of those things)
i dont think the fx would be a good choice. The f8 stock shoots better than the fx, ive compared both side by side.
The best choice i think would be to find a used revi. i know there is one in the BST right now from a good guy. Absolutely gorgeous gun and they have a REAL APE oled board. no knock off.

I like having a collection as much if not more than playing so I would have voted to buy one used. Since there aren't a ton of aftermarket parts for the G3/G4 line and people all tend to do the same upgrades, it's easy to find a used marker with most if not all the parts you have planned to upgrade already together.
