sweet set ^
On this shot it would have been nice to have a BTS due to the fact running out on the bridge and back with people honking showing their congrats to the bride and groom. I still need to balance the photo as there is more sky on the right side than the left.
and one more

I like your d700, the tones and contrast are so much better than what you were getting from your 5d

Some of your skin tones have a reddish/magenta tone to them, I'd be careful of that.

for what it's worth this whole wedding was shot indoors, barely any ambient light with beigy/wood color. Then when I was outdoors it was during "golden" hour and I like shooting on the shadow side so a lot of it is on purpose. So I just went with the "warm" look and messed with the colors enough to where it would match as a set . . . I usally post some up and then go back a few days later to re-evaluate the process so thanks.

haha, all of us are red and magenta...well actually skin tones are usually red/orange/yellow. The problem with shooting in golden sun is that it turns everything orange/yellow, whites are more blue than white (reflectivity wise, at least the dress responded to blues more than anything) and so even if you turn down the magenta to get it out of the skin tone the only real way to do it is to turn down yellows, reds, and oranges and find a sweet spot, but it affects the rest of the picture. And I'm too lazy to mask/brush because at the end of the day the client won't actually notice all that much.
What I've done is climbed trees, did decent poses, and gave it the dreamy affect and I got paid (and enjoyed taking them). Masking/brushing up skin tones is something I'll do for my own portfolio but for FB spreading and for their own cd...nope.

Solid shot Martin, real solid. I would like to see more detail in the waves of her hair would be my only critique.

So is lack of C&C in here a good or bad thing? Or is that just reserved for the cool guys, I haven't figured it out yet

It's usually a good thing. That means it's 1. not horrible. 2. Not great.
Usually C&C comes to people who post something that is good but there's a couple of things that could be changed = good picture.
C&C saying it's crap usually means it's crap. So nothing = not crappy, but not worth commenting on. At least that's been my experience
people who are regulars usually get something said about their images due to the fact that people are familiar with their work.
your work = normal paintball pictures with that style of processing. So since it's normal...stuff that's seen all the time there's no reason to comment on it and critique it. It's not bad, it's just normal.

Not feeling it dude. Your work is usually pretty killer and this just doesn't fit. Reds look way oversaturated and that sign is distracting as hell. Perhaps if it were more to his side rather than right behind his head. The busses don't help either.
All that being said, if your clients go for it, then rock out.
